About Me

I am a clinical psychologist with specialty in traumatic stress, particularly how trauma-related challenges impact interpersonal relationships (e.g., couples, families, social, work relationships). Trauma can include a wide variety of experiences and challenges. My expertise includes working with individuals who have experienced interpersonal/relational trauma, war-related trauma and violence, civilian and military sexual trauma, and traumatic loss. I am a strong believer in fostering holistic approaches to healing.

I received my doctorate at Pepperdine University. I completed pre-doctoral internship at UCLA Semel Institute and a formal 2-year postdoctoral fellowship at UCLA Nathanson Family Resilience Center. I am extensively trained in and apply evidence based and trauma informed interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy.
